No one matched the main numbers and bonus balls last night so it has rolled over.
But being a MEGA Jackpot the rollover now stands and a staggering £133 Million.
That’s a recession busting jackpot if ever there was one.
Both of the two winning tickets for the gigantic £91 million 5 times rollover jackpot were bought in the UK.
Each ticket-holder will get half the winnings, which is £45,570,835 dwarfing the previous UK record of £35.4 million.
A lotto spokesman said:
This is fantastic news. These two ticket-holders have just banked the largest lottery prizes ever paid out in the country.
If either of the tickets belong to a single winner they will soar into the top spot on the National Lottery rich list.
We have plenty of champagne on ice and we are looking forward to welcoming the lucky ticketholders to the National Lottery’s millionaires club.
Imagine if one person bought both tickets and has cashed in to the tune of £91,141,670 ! This would be the Biggest ever UK winner of the EuroMillions lotto.
Before last night’s result the UK’s biggest lottery winner was Glasgow postal mistress Angela Kelly who won £35.4 million in August 2007. Other notable UK winners were : an anonymous winner also in August 2007 who won £26,533,767.50; and Brian Caswell of Bolton, who won £24,951,269.40, in June 2009.
In May this year a 25 year old Spanish woman became the biggest EuroMillions winner when she won £113 million.
If a syndicate has one ticket then many more lifes will be changed for forever.
If there are Multi-win Syndicate winners then the total will far exceed the £45 Million payout.
The quadruple rollover was not won last night and now it rolls over to a quintuple (5 times) rollover. The last time this happened was back in May 09 then it was a £88.36 Million jackpot. This then rolled over to a staggering £110 Million sextuple rollover which was one but just one player.
Fawkes Political Poster
This coming weekend the UK will be lit up with bonfires celebrating Guy Fawes’s attempt to blow up parliament. But I wonder will who will be celebrating a cool EuroMillions win and will the £90 Million jackpot be won ? Guy Fawkes was (from his point of view) unlucky. Many people forget he did not act alone. Which brings me to the age old question do you go it alone or join a group/syndicate ?
BTW : don’t forget today it is a UK double rollover worth £12 Million.

Nobody. Tonights Triple Rollover was not won. The estimated prize value was £54 Million. In the event it turned out to be a £55,868,893 jackpot.
EuroMillions now rolls over once more to a Quadruple Rollover worth an estimated £71 Million.
Yet again the jackpot still stands. It is now a cool £54 Million Triple Rollover after the +£40 Million Double Rollover jackpot was not matched. The last Triple Rollover was last month on August the 14th it was a Triple Rollover and the jackpot was £49,372,566. So this time a around there’s a good £5 Million more up for grabs. So while the world worries about whether it is cool to grow a David Beckham beard I’d suggest bucking the trend and learn how to win more cash, rather than just watch David rake it in.
After the draw last Friday the estimate was £39 Million now this has been revised to £40 Million. Generally this only happens if there is a great demand and typically such upward revisions turn out to be accurate.

The magic number here is 13 which I guess is unluck for some. Why 13 ? Well 3 weeks ago it was a £13 million jackpot, 1 week later it became 2 times £13 Million when it rolled over to £26 Million now it has rolled over again by another £13 Million to 3 times £13 Million a cracking £39 Million this coming Friday the 16th of October 2009.
Across the 9 participating counties the odds of grabbing the jackpot are as always 1 in 74 Million. High odds indeed. However do not loose heart you can defy the odds and increase your chances by 36 times !

PS : Dick Dastardly would be saying drat for sure.
PPS : the smart pigeon on the other hand would have a cunning plan to increase his odds and winnings
Did you see the Derren Brown program last night ? He correctly ‘predicted’ the lottery numbers on Channel 4 at 10.35pm.
Here’s what I think he did.
He froze time.
If you watched the show you will notice he waits with baited breath as the numbers are drawn. He is motionless. My theory is : in this period of motionless activity the TV screen changes but everything else is frozen and an assistant sets up the numbers. As the bonus ball is drawn this gives time for the picture to be un-frozen.
Ok the camera does wobble a little throughout so maybe it is not that simple. Regardless EVERYONE GOT IT WRONG !!! Nobody won - it is now a rollover.
