The €100 Million (£90,740,000) EuroMillions jackpot of the 18th September 2009 has been won by a single ticket bought on France’s Mediterranean coast. The lucky winner beat about 40 million players to win the 100 million euros SuperDraw. This is the largest lottery win ever made in France.
This is equal to the jackpot win of the 9th February 2007 and the third highest ever.
The largest being the sextuple rollover of €126,231,764, 8th of May 2009 won by a Spanish lady.
Second was €115,436,126 way back on the 29th of July 2005 famously won by Dolores McNamara who lives in the Republic of Ireland.
Nobody won the £37 Million yet it WILL NOT Rollover !!!! Yes that’s right it will not rollover as it is a Superdraw ! Even better. So Friday the 18th of September it is a £85 Million Superdraw jackpot.
Just finished watching Derren Brown reveal how he predicted the numbers.
Err.. err well hummmm err. He says he used “The Wisdom of the Crowds”
I have read this book. And yeah I guess he may have used this book, certainly he does follow formula in the book. If you ever saw Derren have a group of people guess the sweets in the jar trick then you have already seen him use information from this book.
I can honestly tell you - for a fact that this does work (well for the sweet jar anyhow) - please don’t ask how I know that, but I know the sweet jar DOES without question work. Don’t believe me? Try this… the next time you go to a fayre and the guess the sweets in the jar competition is being played then you MUST do the following…
Get the guesses add them up divide by the total number of guessers and with this average compare to the answer. Then you’ll know what I mean. And you’ll know how Derrin did the sweets in the jar trick. And maybe you’ll have more of an insight to how he won the lottery.
Of course the question has to be : Is this how he did it ? Or is this simply more mis-direction ?
Now if that doesn’t work for you - and lets face it - it is far from trivial then you can always use this. It certainly uses a crowd to shift your odds
Did you see the Derren Brown program last night ? He correctly ‘predicted’ the lottery numbers on Channel 4 at 10.35pm.
Here’s what I think he did.
He froze time.
If you watched the show you will notice he waits with baited breath as the numbers are drawn. He is motionless. My theory is : in this period of motionless activity the TV screen changes but everything else is frozen and an assistant sets up the numbers. As the bonus ball is drawn this gives time for the picture to be un-frozen.
Ok the camera does wobble a little throughout so maybe it is not that simple. Regardless EVERYONE GOT IT WRONG !!! Nobody won - it is now a rollover.
