The EuroMillions £50 Million Triple Rollover jackpot has been won.  One winner from the UK winning £24,951,269.40 and the other from Ireland winning the same amount which at the current exchange rate that would be €29,343,049.76.

“We are absolutely delighted that one UK ticketholder has scooped a £24.9 million share of this Euromillions jackpot alongside one ticketholder from Ireland,” said a Camelot spokeswoman.

For the UK winner this is at least as good as Olympic Bronze being third largest UK lottery jackpot ever !  The largest UK winner being postal worker Angela Kelly, from East Kilbride in Scotland who won a massive £35.4 million in August 2007.  Also in August 2007 there was a win of £26.5 Million from an anonymous ticketholder.

So far no one has come forward to claim the prize, so check your tickets with these numbers.

There were 2,208,797 winners overall this week.
