Looks like someone in the UK just won £84,451,320.60.

If confirmed then this is the biggest EuroMillions UK based lottery win ever.

A Camelot spokesman said: “This is absolutely fantastic news, and the biggest ever lottery win in the UK.”

“We’re delighted to have yet another massive UK win, following hot on the heels of Nigel Page’s amazing £56 million EuroMillions win in February 2010.

The win has yet to be claimed and validated but all indications are this is a new UK record.

The winning numbers : 01,17,31,43, 47.  Lucky Star numbers were 02 & 03.

No one won the UK general election.

Or as one of my friends said recently “No General was Elected”.

The news on the TV and newspapers is full of the woes of Westminster and volcanoes, but there’s nothing you can do about that news.  Here’s something positive.

The largest prize won to date on the EuroMillions has been won by a couple from Gloucestershire.

There were 2 winning tickets in all, one from Spain and one from the UK each winning £56,008,113.

Later today the full identities of the UK winners will be revealed at a Cameltot press conference.

Today it started snowing which brings to mind the fact that Xmas day is just over a week away. As usual the press is full of speculation of a white Xmas. Both of the two winning tickets for the gigantic £91 million 5 times rollover jackpot were bought in the UK.
Each ticket-holder will get half the winnings, which is £45,570,835 dwarfing the previous UK record of £35.4 million.

A lotto spokesman said:

This is fantastic news. These two ticket-holders have just banked the largest lottery prizes ever paid out in the country.

If either of the tickets belong to a single winner they will soar into the top spot on the National Lottery rich list.

We have plenty of champagne on ice and we are looking forward to welcoming the lucky ticketholders to the National Lottery’s millionaires club.

Imagine if one person bought both tickets and has cashed in to the tune of £91,141,670 !  This would be the Biggest ever UK winner of the EuroMillions lotto.

Before last night’s result the UK’s biggest lottery winner was Glasgow postal mistress Angela Kelly who won £35.4 million in August 2007. Other notable UK winners were : an anonymous winner also in August 2007 who won £26,533,767.50; and Brian Caswell of Bolton, who won £24,951,269.40, in June 2009.

In May this year a 25 year old Spanish woman became the biggest EuroMillions winner when she won £113 million.

If a syndicate has one ticket then many more lifes will be changed for forever.
If there are Multi-win Syndicate winners then the total will far exceed the £45 Million payout.

The quadruple rollover was not won last night and now it rolls over to a quintuple (5 times) rollover.  The last time this happened was back in May 09 then it was a £88.36 Million jackpot.  This then rolled over to a staggering £110 Million sextuple rollover which was one but just one player.

Nobody.  Tonights Triple Rollover was not won.  The estimated prize value was £54 Million.  In the event it turned out to be a £55,868,893 jackpot.
EuroMillions now rolls over once more to a Quadruple Rollover worth an estimated £71 Million.
